Job Summary

Operations Financial Analyst will work within a close-knit team of Operations and Finance professionals and interact regularly with other departments in the organization. The individual will be involved in executing Financial Planning and Analysis / Operational Finance tasks such as budgeting, forecasting, performance tracking, management reporting and transaction analysis. These duties require considerable confidentiality, initiative, tact, maturity, and independent judgment. The person must possess strong interpersonal and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Review purchase requisitions to verify coding, fund availability, and compliance with company's policy

• Work closely with Operations team to guide and resolve issues as they arise

• Compile weekly Operating expense tracking report

• Deliver accurate weekly/monthly/quarterly financial reporting and presentation for business partners

• Identify and investigate monthly budget/forecast vs. actual variance

• Work independently to produce and analyze financial and non-financial information

• Consolidate annual and quarterly budget for America data center Operations and business unit

• Utilize Hyperion/Tableau/Power BI as the system to generate reports for actuals and budget/forecast tracking

• Provide support to the regional data center operation teams during month-end close

• Maintain financial library in SharePoint for America data centers

• Thrives and works well with others in fast-paced, highly demanding environment

• Continuously improve the overall Operation financial reporting process as business requirements evolve

• Perform ad-hoc analysis or other duties as needed

Qualifications

• Experience in budgeting and forecasting required

• Strong analytical, quantitative, written and interpersonal skills

• Ability to deliver thoughtful, accurate and timely work product

• Ability to perform multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities

• Strong interpersonal skills and proven record as a team player

• Advance Microsoft Office Suite skills (Excel, Power Point, Word, and Outlook)

• Oracle experience preferred and/or IT systems experience

• Hyperion, Tableau and Excel Add-ins experience is a plus

• 1 to 3 years of Finance experience required, preferably in Accounting or FP&A

• Bachelor's degree in finance/Business Administration/Economics related field
