We're looking for a leadership-capable, tech savvy operations manager to oversee our Osawatomie warehouse and fulfillment operations. This role would report directly to the President and CEO of Equip-Bid but would be the sole responsible manager for all operations and financial oversight.

Headquartered in Overland Park, KS, we have warehouses in Grandview, MO and Osawatomie, KS (location hiring this position. Oz Deals receives, stores, lists, and distributes large equipment, tools, wholesale goods, and other inventory to customers via scheduled, in-person pick-ups. We solve a large variety of problems and needs, create programmatic incentives, invest in an ever-growing network, and provide real-person, dedicated support with 13 years of auction experience for both sellers and bidders.
Though owned by Equip-Bid.com, Inc, Oz Deals warehouse will be run and overseen by you—this role requires high levels of independence, integrity, and strategic forward-thinking. You will need to understand how to manage each person differently to encourage what is working and improve on what is lacking. By and large, this is a positive and fun environment where everyone gets their work done without issue. Your job is to make sure all the cogs move as a well-oiled machine.
Other responsibilities:
- Unloading truckloads of inventory (forklift certification greatly preferred)
- Employment of listers and other warehouse staff
- Ensuring hours/payroll is correct/controlled
- Configuring / troubleshooting software / computers related to shipping / receiving
- Participating in monthly meetings as well as maintaining email and Slack chat group with Equip-Bid office staff
- Evaluate / Create Excel Spreadsheets
- Evaluate auction listings for data entry errors, inventory problems due to mis-counts, receiving/entering in details from in and outgoing shipments.
Software / Technologies used:

- Shipping: Truckload inventory is handled through Truckload Direct, a subsidiary of Equip-Bid
- Auctions: equip-bid.com and company-specific listing software
