As member of the Law Department Operations Central Support team, this role reports to the Operations Manager and will provide key support to Equitable Investment Management (EIM) Legal and Compliance group within the Law Department.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide primary administrative and other support to Head of EIM Legal and Compliance
- Provide support for in person and virtual board meetings
- Provide support for department calendaring, various travel booking, and reporting.
- Legal invoicing support and other responsibilities associated with department needs.
- Preparing and delivering a variety of reports to EIM Legal and Compliance department
- Creation and development of advanced PowerPoints for EIM Legal and Compliance
- Strong organization skills and ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
The base salary range for this position is $56,000 - $82,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

Qualifications
- 1 years of paralegal/legal assistant experience in a law firm or corporate law department preferred
- Demonstrated advanced knowledge and application of Microsoft Office. Advanced Excel experience a plus
- Strong knowledge and history of developing expert level PowerPoint presentations for Senior Leadership a plus
- Prior project support experience a plus
- Knowledge of travel booking and expense reporting through corporate reservation
