Responsibilities and Expectations
- Prepare all Consumer Real Estate (1-4 Family) loan documents as requested in accordance with loan policy, written approval and compliance rules and TRID regulations
- Have a working knowledge of TRID – TILA RESPA Integrated Disclosures
- Complete Closing Compliance checklist on all loans
- Ensure loan is set up property with Mortgage Insurance and any FHA, VA or USDA requirements
- Review files and clear closing conditions if required on the Clear To Close (CTC)
- Work with the Title Company to prepare the Closing Disclosure (CD) and disclose to the borrower within 3 days prior to closing
- Prepare accurate closing instructions and closing packages within required timeframe
- Disburse loan funds by initiating wire amount through bank wire program or disburse by check if needed
- If loan is not closed by Title Company, insure invoices are paid & mortgage is sent for recording
- Acts as liaison with borrowers/customers, other bank employees, outside entities (realtors, title and escrow officers, etc.) as well as other division staff, to facilitate a prompt, efficient closing of each loan
- Work closely with underwriting and processing team to clear loan conditions needed for closing
- Assist in handling loan-level question to ensure mortgage closings to compliance standards
- Manages pipeline to ensure service standards and financial goals are met
- Any other duties assigned by management
Perform other duties as assigned or required
Required Skills & Education
- High School diploma
- Excellent interpersonal skills and professional manner
- Computer skills, especially the ability to work in Windows based systems
- 2 years of mortgage experience is a plus
- Knowledge of Encompass LOS is preferred

Physical Requirements
This position requires standing, walking, bending, and squatting on a regular basis. May require the ability to stoop, kneel, crouch or reach with hands and arms. Requires the ability to carry, lift, move or push up to 25 pounds on an occasional basis. Must be able to talk and listen to others.
Work Environment
This position regularly works in an office setting. Most of the job duties require the employee to be working with computers and electronic media on a regular basis.
