Job Description
- Interviews customers, reviews and completes all forms required for successful entry into the program
- Follows up on all no shows and reschedules their appointments
- Conducts group orientations
- Guides members to available online service options
- Trains members on various literacy topics of interest
- Teaches basic Microsoft Software courses
- Administers quarterly entrance examinations to individuals to demonstrate progression
- Contacts potential members provided by outreach staff
- Performs Job Readiness Training components on a weekly basis
Bachelor’s degree required. One to two years in workforce development or related field preferred.
- Strong project management skills, including managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Internet Research, and social media.
- Outcome driven, strong analytical skills with experience using data to inform programmatic decisions.
- Highly motivated, with proven capacity to work independently, take initiative, and thrive in high-paced entrepreneurial environment.
- Flexible, with availability to work a weeknight and occasional Saturdays.
