Responsibilities
- Filing incoming program materials such as eligibility and verification documentation, employment plans, progress reports, copies of credentials according to file system
- Searching for and investigating information contained in files, maintaining a file tracking system, keeping files current and supplying information from file data or remove files upon request; purging files in accordance with local, State and Federal regulations
- Collect program eligibility documents and schedule intake appointments with Career Advisors
- Covering the reception and career center areas, answering phones, greeting customers and assisting job seekers, on an as needed basis
- Providing administrative support and completing special projects as assigned by the Director and Managers
- Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or General Education Diploma required
- Related clerical experience preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 2000 is required
- Must be detail-oriented and understand filing systems
- Must be very organized and have the ability to handle a fast-paced office environment and multiple tasks simultaneously
