Quality Inspector
Available shifts:
B1-Monday-Thursday 4pm-2.30am
B2- Wednesday-Saturday 4pm-2.30am
Location: Pontiac MI, MI, 48341
Overview
We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team at our facility in Pontiac MI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of all goods produced at ERAE. This may include, but not limited to incoming material inspections, internal quality assurance per specification, and outgoing product inspections. Integrity and documentation will be one of the key elements to be successful in this position.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Read and understand documented work instructions, standard operating procedures, and statistical specification.
- Measure the product with specific hand tools/gauge and visually inspect product to verify it is complaint to the design specification.
- Identify statistical trends in the product performance and detect any abnormalities in the prodcut/processes.
- Tag and segregate acceptable product from product that has not passed inspection.
- Support quality Engineering with process studies.
- Perform regular quality assessments on all incoming materials from vendors and outgoing products for shipping.
- Perform audits of product and processes, rejecting all product and materials that fail to meet quality expectations.
- Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records.
- Resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.
- Other duties as assigned, including but not limited to working in other departments and/or roles such as end of line inspection, assembly, kitting, rework, and repack.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with quality control techniques such as Six Sigma
- Experience with measuring devices such as meters, gauges, computers, calipers, and other measuring instruments
- One to two years’ quality inspector experience

Salary info:
$18.50 - $19.27 / hr
