Job Posting for Accounting Assistant at Eric Mower and Associates
Mower is currently seeking an organized Accounting Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry to mid-level person (1-3 years’ experience) looking to gain additional accounting experience in an agency culture where employees are valued and there is a fun and positive work environment.
Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Generating and reconciling client invoices with production/media spend
- Accounts Payable entry
- Collaborating with agency team members for client and vendor invoicing
- Assisting with A/R collections
- Contacting vendors for outstanding invoices as needed
- Report creation and generation
- Assist with credit card reconciliation of multiple accounts
- Work on special projects as needed
- Other duties to be performed as assigned
Qualifications and requirements:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration required
- 1-3 plus years related work experience
- Understanding of the general ledger and accounting practices
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Interpersonal skills to work in a team environment
- Effective verbal and listening skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Efficient organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction
- Computer skills including the ability to operate computerized accounting systems, spreadsheets, and email at a highly proficient level
- Professional, courteous, and effective written and verbal communication skills
Salary Range: $20 - $26 per hour
*Salary differential is based on seniority, merit, education, training and experience
