What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping/Receiving & Inventory Associate position at Eric'sons?
The Shipping/Receiving & Inventory Associate will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to receiving raw material, shipping product and inventory of current common parts used in production and consumables. This position will participate in all required inventory cycle counts as required (whether monthly, quarterly or yearly).
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for Packing Slips and BOL going to shipping department
· Responsible for uploading projects to shipping in SharePoint
· Checking in shipments from vendors (Composite One, GS Manufacturing, transfer trucks, etc.)
· Responsible for updating supply inventory and contacting person in charge of procurement when items are running below minimum levels
· Check in transfer trucks and upload final copy to PTT on SharePoint, assuring inventory is correct after unloading
· Keep current inventory on grates, hardware, locks, BO4’s, etc.
· Pull hardware for projects and make sure inventory reflects what is being pulled and package any WEB orders, have QA record, and send up project to shipping accordingly
· Compare log system to current inventory system, investigate and work with team to maintain correct inventory
· Send shipping log for week to plant manager to review and compare to his shipping metrics
· Work with spray room lead and maintenance to create a parts inventory for spray gun.
· Create minimum stock level rotocol and submit parts needs to plant manager
· Create inventory of welding consumables, and submit parts need to Metal Shop Manager to order
· Responsible for updating all inventories and log documents including general items, plant inventory, and shipping supply inventory
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 6 months inventory experience
· Forklift operation preferred, minimum of 1 year successful operation
· Must be able to read, interpret and understand simple shop drawings
· Must be able to read a tape measure
· Must be at least 18 years of age
· Must pass a drug screen and background check
· Must be authorized to work in the United States
Education:
· High school diploma or GED
Supervisory requirements:
· None
Competencies:
· Must be able to understand instructions, both verbal and written
· Ability to maintain a fast, steady-state pace of work
· Ability to memorize information, specifically numbers
· Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Sharepoint)
· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
· Must be able to withstand extreme temperatures (heat, cold)
· Must be able to stand/walk/crouch/kneel frequently for duration of shift, up to 10 hours
· Must be able to work overtime as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour
