What are the responsibilities and job description for the ASIC Verification Lead position at Ericsson?
Our Exciting Opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced and results oriented Design Verification Lead Engineer to join Ericsson's ASIC IP organization in Austin, Texas, a growing world-class semiconductor development organization whose charter is to help drive excellence in our 5G network products. Ericsson’s ASICs are the backbone of 5G networks. Our IP teams develop, test, and deliver various functional RTL blocks for integration into these ASICs. You will have a unique opportunity to demonstrate your competence in several areas such as modeling (TLM), Block- and Top-Level ASIC and IP verification, test bench development, HW emulation, HW acceleration, and SW driven verification. You will participate in the leadership of a dynamic team where there will be opportunities to try out new roles as we continue to grow.

Skills Needed for Success:
- IP, ASIC, SoC, or FPGA RTL verification
- Several years, preferrable 10 or more, of work experience debugging RTL at the block and/or top level
- Hands-on verification utilizing System Verilog/UVM
- Architecting/creating RTL testbenches from scratch
- IP knowledge include Serdes, PCIe, ARM Subsystem, DSPs/Accelerators, or Ethernet
- TCL/Python/Perl/etc.
- Good communication skills.
Additional Preferred Skills:
- Developing test plans and directed/randomized test cases from scratch
- Object-oriented programming
- Embedded Software design and test
- IT Environment like Linux, GIT, LSF
- Basic Leadership skills with a desire to develop further
Preferred Educational Background:
- Bachelor/Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
