About this opportunityAs a Product Owner Intern, you play a crucial role assisting the Agile team in understanding desired business outcomes and translating into technical Acceptance Criteria so that products we deliver provide exceptional value to stakeholders. You will collaborate with multi-functional teams, handle the Feature Backlog, work with primary stakeholders to validate Acceptance Criteria is accomplished, and inspire change to ensure the solution delivers an effective outcome to our stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about technology, has a keen eye for detail, and is eager to learn and grow in the field of Product Management.
What you will do- Business Understanding: Deeply comprehend how a product will contribute to the business through the product's purpose, target audience, and market landscape.
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with domain experts to gather, document, and refine product requirements. Illustrate these requirements using Agile methodology of Epics, Capabilities, Features and Stories.
- Maintain Feature Backlog: Directly responsible to create and prioritize the Feature Product Backlog and User Story Maps by ensuring clarity and readiness of upcoming iterations, planning and sync events.
- Communication Liaison: Facilitate effective communication between development teams, stakeholders, architects, and Domain Experts.
- Continuous Learning: Learn to prioritize backlog items based on feedback from senior team members and stakeholder needs.
- Product Vision: Contribute ideas and insights to the product vision under the guidance of experienced team members.
- Feedback Incorporation: Assist in incorporating customer feedback into the development process to enhance product quality.
- Documentation Assistance: Contribute to documenting user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Market Research Aid: Support market research by collecting data and insights to help inform product decisions.
- Solution Validation: Learn to validate proposed solutions and report findings to senior team members.
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college/university in Product Development, Information Systems, Graphical/Web Design, Psychology, Entrepreneurship, or Business Administration.
- Passion for achieving expertise in Manufacturing Domain Value Streams and Product Management processes.
- Empathy for Manufacturing Domain as-is ways of working challenges and propose improvements to the end-user value stream through Industry 4.0 solutions.
- Ability to evaluate the value statement of each business opportunity and prioritize the product backlog to enhance product value.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to convey ideas, gather requirements, and collaborate with stakeholders of various business and technical backgrounds.
- Proactive approach to tasks and a desire to contribute to the team's success.
- Enthusiastic about working collaboratively in multi-functional teams and adapting to dynamic environments.
- Ability to analyze information, solve problems, and make informed decisions.
- Exhibit strong attention to detail and organization when documenting requirements and communicating with team members.
- Openness to new ideas, a willingness to take direction, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Understanding of software development concepts, Agile, and familiarity with relevant tools in the Internet of Things space.
