About this position:
Eridan's Product Manager will be responsible for product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager will also ensure that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals.
As our Product Manager, you will:
- Collaborate with Engineering, Business Development, and Operations to execute on product and operations strategy and roadmap
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify, recommend, and implement new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline processes and use of resources and materials
- Translate the growth roadmap into detailed requirements and prototypes
- Ensure that departmental decisions and project plans such as those for staffing, development, organization, material efficiency, hardware acquisitions, and facilities are in line with the organization's business plan and vision
- Prioritize and weigh the competing factors of our products, our resources, and demands from various stakeholders
- Establish and administer the Operations Department’s budget and be responsible for P&L activities
- Set pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals and deliver a monthly revenue forecast
- Identify, review and approve cost estimates and staffing requirements for projects
- Oversee contract milestones, coordinate with engineering teams to track progress, identify potential roadblocks, and develop alternatives or new methods to mitigate problems or delays
- Keep executive leadership informed of any issues that would delay delivery of milestones
- Proactively jump in when issues arise and take ownership
Qualities of a Successful Candidate:
- 3-5 years of experience as a Product Manager
- 3 years of previous experience in the Telecommunications market
- Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
- Technical background with previous experience in Wireless and cellular radio products
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
- Must be a self-starter who truly enjoys working in a fast-paced startup environment
- Ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions
