Taproom Server

We are looking for a few fun, honest, and reliable craft beer loving individuals to join our team! As a part-time member of our taproom staff, you will be responsible for excellent customer service and representing Eridanus Brewing in a positive manner while helping to grow our brand.

Responsibilities:

• Provide knowledgeable, excellent customer service to guests.
• Represent Eridanus Brewing at local fairs, festivals, and similar events.
• The ability to educate customers on our beverages (craft beer, craft cocktails, and herbal teas) and assess customer preferences to make drink recommendations.
• Serve drinks and snacks in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Complete all opening and closing as well as weekly duties efficiently.
• Maintain utmost cleanliness of bar, taproom and bathrooms throughout the day. Including glassware and serving utensils.
• Conduct cash handling and sales through our POS system.
• Participate in required beer education and workplace training classes.
• Check customer’s identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, ensuring that all activities are conducted within all Federal, State and Local laws, including Kentucky ABC laws.
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• ABC Star certification (provided by employer)
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to work daytime, nights and weekends.
• Ability to work flexible hours (primary brewery hours are nights and weekends). Hours may vary based on season
• Able to twist, kneel, stand, and lift at least 55 pounds on a regular basis.
• Must be a team player, but also self-motivated and passionate.
• Ability to multitask and manage time.

Job Type: Part-time
Hours: 10-20 hours a week
Pay: $2.13 an hour plus tips (At least minimum wage guaranteed, pay often exceeds minimum wage)
