What type of investment do I need?
Unlike other insurance carriers, we do not have a franchise fee or specific dollar amount of capital to get started. We recommend that you have money to invest in your new venture, however, there is no set dollar amount.
How are agents compensated?
Agents are compensated via commission on both new business and renewal business. Additionally, there are a variety of bonus programs to reward agencies for growth, profitability and performance.
Do I need an insurance license?
Yes, an insurance license (property, casualty, life & health authority) is required to be formally appointed with Erie Insurance Group, however, we welcome you to reach out prior to becoming licensed in your state if you’d like to discuss the opportunity.
