Job Description: Human Resources/Volunteer Program/Guest Relations Manager

About Erik’s Ranch & Retreats: Founded in 2008, Erik’s Ranch & Retreats, a 501 c (3) not-for-profit organization, is an innovative living, working and social environment for young adults with autism at its two destination locations: Erik’s Retreat in Edina, Minn., and Erik’s Ranch, in Paradise Valley, Mont. Not only are both locations home to young adults with autism, but what sets Erik’s Ranch & Retreats apart is that these young adults operate the boutique-style/guest ranch accommodations at its two destination locations.

Schedule: M-F onsite from 9-4 and remotely monitoring guest relations every fourth weekend Friday 5-9 pm, Saturday/Sunday 9am-9pm- checking in hourly. Occasional evening instead of daytime hours to observe social events.

Major Responsibilities:

· Manage HR functions; including job postings, screening and interviewing candidates for staff, volunteer program and members; on-boarding of new hires, staff files/documents, benefits, PTO, staff policies/handbook, staff access to systems, email, and building.

· Manage Member and Volunteer program on-boarding including working with Maintenance for apartment preparation and building access; showing apartments to prospective live-on-site volunteers and liaison with finance for invoicing and fee management.

· Lead the Volunteer Program including planning/strategy, recognition, assignments, feedback, monitoring and refinements.

· Manage guest relations and the guest relations team providing leadership as well as hands-on execution with guest reservations and experiences.

· Assist with annual event preparation and logistics.

· General administrative: maintaining physical and SharePoint files, general communications, board communications, and assist CEO with daily requests.

Job requirements:

· Must have at least 2 years of Human Resources experience. This includes experience with all factions of small organization HR.

· Project Management experience.

· Expert use of Microsoft Office - including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

· Strong attention to detail as well as time management skills.

· Ability to work independently as well as being a team player.

· Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines.

· Ability to effectively deal with staff, guests, volunteers, members, and vendors.

· Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service.

· Strategic thinking with strong attention to the tactical processes needed.

· Must possess a four-year degree

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
