We are seeking a talented individual to serve as our Practice Manager over several urgent care clinics in the Chattanooga region.
Summary
The Practice Manager has responsibility of operations, growth, bottom line management and quality for the clinic locations. The position will play both a strong strategic role in ensuring program growth and viability as well as a tactical role of insuring that work processes are designed to produce high quality clinical outcomes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all inclusive. Other duties may be assigned.
· Evaluates patient flow through within the clinics to ensure appropriate utilization of resources.
· Monitor wait times manage the workflow accordingly.
· Identifies opportunities to increase business and scope of services provided by the organization.
· Ensures high team member morale and a professional, effective, and efficient working atmosphere.
· Participates in administrative business operations meetings as scheduled.
· Counsels, disciplines and/or recommends termination of team members as necessary.
· Understands workflow and function of all positions.
· Serves as the subject matter expert for training and EMR systems.
· Works closely with administrative and clinical team members on matters related to the provision of Occupational Health services.
Education and Experience
· Bachelor’s Degree required (A plus if the candidate has an MHA or MBA)
· 3 years of experience managing a multi-site medical practice. Urgent Care and/or Occupational Health experience is preferred.
· Working knowledge of workflow and scheduling
· Must be able to maintain a highly structured environment
· Proven experience as a strategic thinker who has applied industry, business and financial acumen to relentlessly drive customer satisfaction and efficiencies
· Preferred Qualifications: Understanding of HIPAA, OSHA and other state/federal healthcare requirements and regulations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
