Job Summary:
The Compliance Date Base Administrator supports data analytics in the Office of Compliance and Privacy Services including:
Creating and maintaining an activities tracking database for the Office of Compliance and Privacy Services. Compliance and Privacy Services such as policy creation and review, training and education, breach assessments, auditing and monitoring, investigations, etc. Track status to provide metrics on trends to leadership
Monitoring the monthly budget and supporting creation of the annual budget through variances in specific accounts to make sure expenditures are being charged to the correct cost center. To monitor that expected invoices are being paid and cost center is staying on budget.
Creating reports from the systems used by the Office of Compliance and Privacy Services such as the EOL system, PeopleSoft Financial, Peoplesoft HR, etc. as reports of training completion and other metric reports that are routinely provide to the ECC and leadership
Creating reports for software solutions internal to the Office of Compliance and Privacy Services to support the conflicts of interest disclosures, business courtesies, and other solutions and we monitor what is reported and provide metrics to the ECC and other leadership
Administer the Office of Compliance and Privacy Services anonymous reporting system. Review incoming concerns, ensuring appropriate categorization and assignment of the concerns, generating reports to the status of concerns reported
Provide data analytics to the Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer and the compliance team related to coding, billing, and documentation data from an auditing solution and from Epic that allow me to review various services lines, assess volumes, do benchmarking against CMS data and other types of analytics to help drive our compliance program based on risk associated with those various elements.
Support the user access monitoring solution used by the Office of Compliance and Privacy Services.
Collaborate with others to understand processes, procedures, applications and technologies.
Attend and participate in staff and project meetings.
Observes, monitors, evaluates and reports compliance and privacy policy compliance.
Produces routine metrics to be presented to the compliance committees.
The Compliance Date Base Administrator reports to the Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer.
The Compliance Data Base Administrator works independently and with the Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer, and relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish tasks. Days and hours worked may be variable.
Education:
Required: BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Database Administration, or related field.
Preferred: Master�s Degree in Computer Science or related field
Experience:
Required:
� 4 � 6 years experience in an information systems environment
� Strong data analytics skills for both financial and clinical information.
� Strong analytical and problem solving skills and proactive thinking skills
� Excellent written and verbal communication skills
� Strong presentation skills
� Demonstrable a strong working knowledge of office applications (Word, Excel, Access, e-mail)
Preferred:
� 10 years experience in information technology or information systems environment
� Experience with data base programming such as SQL, Salesforce, DevOps, Virtual Studio or similar tools, including integration of Microsoft Access.
