Overview
Lexington Regional Rehabilitation Hospital is a brand new 40-bed stand-alone inpatient rehabilitation hospital opening Summer 2023! We will be providing specialized inpatient and outpatient rehabilitative services to our patients who are often recovering from disabilities caused by injuries, illnesses, or chronic medical conditions.
We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team of passionate patient caregivers!

Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Two years experience in construction and remodeling or maintenance preferred.
- OR any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Additional Qualifications/Skills:
- Demonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
- Must be able to make mathematical calculations and follow detailed written and oral instructions.
- Knowledgeable of safety codes and regulations
- Effective organizational and time management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain quality and safety standards.
- Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.
- Ability to work closely and professionally with others.

Responsibilities
Performs semi-skilled maintenance and repair services of facility systems such as mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building systems. Emphasis is on performance of a variety of maintenance tasks rather than a high degree of skill in any particular trade. Integrates the hospitals mission and Guiding Principles into daily practice.
