We provide specialized inpatient and outpatient rehabilitative services to our patients who are often recovering from disabilities caused by injuries, illnesses, or chronic medical conditions. At our 50-bed hospital, we provide specialized treatment in the Kern County and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities:
Working in coordination with the nursing staff, health care providers, and the social worker will take an initiative in addressing psychosocial issues that impact the health care of residents. Integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice.
Required Skills:
- Current State license as a Social Worker.
- One year experience in acute care setting required.
Additional Qualifications/Skills:
- Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.
- Demonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
- Demonstrates critical thinking skills, ability to organize and delegate to appropriate personnel.
- Effective organizational and time management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Leadership skills in delegating, organizing, and educating coworkers and staff.
- Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.
