Description
Digital Marketing Analyst
ERP Advisors Group is currently seeking candidates to fill our Digital Marketing Analyst role. We are seeking a team player with a high work ethic and integrity who takes pride in their work. The best candidate will be a lifelong learner with humility (it’s ok to not know everything and to ask for help!) This person will thrive by being straightforward and real, with high self-awareness and an openness to take guidance and feedback for continuous improvement.
The person who holds this position is responsible for generating marketing content for our website, email campaigns, social media, events, lead generation efforts, promotional materials, brochures, industry reports, and other mediums to ensure EAG’s marketing consistency.
Business-to-Business (B2B) marketing experience and enterprise software knowledge are not required for this role but are a definite plus. This role requires a natural curiosity about how businesses overcome the pain of expansion as it relates to leveraging software. The heaviest focus for the day-to-day work in this role is a strong ability to research technical topics and write convincing yet friendly, simple, and helpful copy for our marketing personas who are savvy executives at mid-market companies. The right candidate must be able to write simple, straightforward content that doesn’t sound “academic” or condescending.
Placing content, writing social media and emails are secondary and hinge on this core ability to write for executive buyers such as CFOs and CIOs. Therefore, the right candidate must have some relevant way to show strengths, interest, and a track record of success in conducting research and writing, especially as it relates to a continuous variety of topics. We rarely repeat or go deeper into topics therefore the successful candidate must be up to the challenge of continually learning about new ERPs, new industries, and new aspects of EAGs methodology. The successful digital marketer receives feedback from two editors on each blog and has a great opportunity to continually learn more about each topic so this will help them continually improve their ability to produce better pieces.
Supplemental qualifications include HubSpot CRM or Content Management experience, but CRM and website development are not a substitute for the writing qualifications. Other supplemental qualifications include experience with podcast broadcasts including video, sound setup, and recording. The role also requires using various marketing software tools so the right candidate must be comfortable learning new software applications to perform their job. We will provide training on our tools for the right candidate.
Note: Business-to-Customer (B2C) social media experience is not considered a qualification for this role.
