Senior JDE Manufacturing Functional Consultant

Job Summary: 

ERP Suites is seeking an experienced Senior JD Edwards Manufacturing Consultant who brings a wealth of experience with implementing JD Edwards manufacturing modules via consulting projects. The successful candidate will drive manufacturing process enhancement through strategic JD Edwards solutions, and lead/deliver complex implementations, upgrades, and manufacturing process optimizations. 

Location:

Our home office is based in Cincinnati, OH. However, this position is remote. 

Key Responsibilities: 

1. Strategic Implementation Leadership: 

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of JD Edwards manufacturing solutions to ensure alignment with business goals. 

• Analyze business requirements and transform them into JD Edwards solutions, optimizing manufacturing processes. 

• Understand Manufacturing industry challenges and best practices while serving as a thought leader for customers  

2. End-to-End Project Management: 

• Deliver Manufacturing implementation projects from inception through to successful completion, ensuring timelines, scope, and budget adherence. 

• Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution. 

• Navigate through project challenges, ensuring effective communication among stakeholders and maintaining project integrity. 

3. Expert-Level Support and System Optimization: 

• Provide elite support for JD Edwards manufacturing modules post-implementation, ensuring continuous improvement and optimized performance. 

• Identify opportunities for manufacturing system enhancements and drive continuous improvement initiatives. 

4. Mentorship and Team Leadership: 

• Mentor junior consultants and offer guidance to implementation teams towards successful project completions. 

5. Integration and System Upgrades: 

• Strategize and manage the integration of JD Edwards manufacturing with other organizational systems. 

• Steer system upgrades ensuring they align with ongoing and future business needs. 

JD Edwards Module Expertise and Experience Required: 

1. Manufacturing Management:  

• Experience: Minimum 7 years of hands-on implementation experience with Manufacturing Management. 

• Skills (Required): Expertise in manufacturing planning, work order management, and shop floor control. 

1. Product Data Management:  

• Experience: Minimum 7 years focused on implementing Product Data Management. 

• Skills: Proficiency in managing item master, bill of materials, and routing, and integrating these with manufacturing processes. 

1. Quality Management:  

• Experience: 7 years specializing in implementing JD Edwards Quality Management. 

• Skills: Mastery in setting up and managing quality specifications, testing, and reporting within manufacturing. 

1. Forecasting – Resource Requirements Planning:  

• Experience: At least 7 years with implementing the Resource Requirements Planning. 

• Skills: Expertise in managing and optimizing manufacturing forecasts, ensuring alignment with production capacities. 

Qualifications: 

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. A Master’s degree is desirable. 

1. Experience: At least 10 years of robust experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, focusing on manufacturing modules 

Skills and Abilities: 

• Technical Mastery: Extensive technical and functional knowledge in JD Edwards manufacturing modules. 

• Strategic Analytical Skills: Ability to derive strategic insights from data analysis to inform decision-making. 

• Communication Superior communication capabilities with the adeptness to translate complex business requirements into understandable terms. 

Certifications: 

• JD Edwards-related certifications, especially in manufacturing modules, are highly desirable
