What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Controls Analyst position at Ervin Cable?
Summary of Position:
A successful Project Controls Analyst shall use project management tools and techniques to analyze and report on project goals. Assist in the implementation and execution of plans to meet the goals, and meet the milestones and end date of assigned projects. Review daily and weekly production reports to ensure reasonableness and accuracy as well as reporting information to the customer and Company management on a weekly or as needed basis. Project Management experience (PMP or CAPM) with Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project applications experience preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or 4 years of related work experience.
- Proficient in the use of office hardware and software. (PCs, Tablets, Printers, Copiers, Microsoft, Google, etc.)
- Advanced proficiency in your assigned function, example; (Accounting, Engineering, IT, Procurement, Project Mgmt, etc.)
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check.
Responsibilities:
- Manage processes effectively and apply expertise to ensure completion of work assignments.
- Participate in the implementation and maintenance of processes or procedures.
- Communicate with employees, contractors, vendors, and/or customers to assist assigned department/project.
- Read, interpret, input, and analyze data in support of an assigned department/project.
