Title: Junior Front-End Developer

Our in-house web development team works closely together to collaborate on a wide range of multifaceted and
customized projects. We are looking to add a full-time Junior Front-End Developer to help with the continued
development of high-quality and innovative web projects with a focus on accessible content. The ideal
candidate is creative, detail- and solution-oriented, quick to learn and problem-solve, and able to find and
implement new tools and workflows. OCALI offers a fast-paced environment with the opportunity to learn and

Responsibilities
- Assist with the update and maintenance of various websites/UI
- Perform continuous improvement on websites/UI based on stakeholder feedback
- Work on creating and updating custom templates that align with existing UI patterns and best
practices
- Independently research a variety of problems as requested
- Assist with additional responsibilities as assigned by the IST (Integrated Solutions Team)
Minimum Qualifications
At least 1-3 years of experience in the following:
- Experience with HTML, CSS/Sass, JavaScript
- Experience with Laravel Blade
- Experience with Bootstrap v4 framework
- Experience with jQuery, Alpine JS, Livewire
- Experience with Gitflow version control
- Experience with accessibility practices
Additional Skills
- Experience with additional JavaScript frameworks (e.g., VueJS)
- Experience with front-end testing frameworks (e.g., Laravel Dusk)
- Experience with pull request creation/review process
- Experience with Laravel application and ecosystem
- Experience with Laravel build pipelines (NPM, Mix)
- Experience with Laravel Filament
- Experience with UI/UX design/development
- Experience with content management
- Experience with agile project management with multiple clients/projects
- Ability to juggle multiple assignments simultaneously
- Ability to keep timelines and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Mac-savvy skills

Salary: Salary $65,000 or commensurate with experience.
Reports To: Senior Web Developer and ultimately Senior Director Integrated Solutions and Project
