Master’s degree required
Experience successfully leading a campus or central office experience
Secondary Principal experience preferred
Experience in implementing efforts in improving CCMR outcomes preferred
Valid Texas teaching certificate
Valid Texas Principal or Superintendent Certification
Knowledge of effective research: change process, systems thinking,
organizational culture and adult learners
Ability to plan implement, deliver and sustain professional development for
school and district personnel
Advanced knowledge of curriculum practices, instruction, assessment, school
improvement, and organizational culture
Knowledge of federal and state accountability systems
Any acceptable variations of the above as approved by the Executive Director
Recommended by ESC Executive Director
Lead and coordinate all efforts to provide the delivery of services, supports, and
technical assistance to districts and campuses relating to state & federal
accountability systems
Lead and coordinate professional development and technical assistance to
districts in Results Driven Accountability,
Provide assistance to district and campus staff for educator certification,
graduation cohorts, and PEG requirements
Contact for districts for Charter School information
Provide services, supports, and technical assistance to campuses through
focused efforts in regard to schools identified as in need of improvement by the
state and federal accountability systems
Train and support districts identified for Equity Plan submission
Train and coach principals and principal supervisors in alignment with Texas
Instructional Leadership (TIL) trainings and supports and/or Acceler8
Leadership supports
Support Effective Schools Framework Diagnostics
Work in collaboration with ESC8 staff to provide intra- and inter-departmental
efforts for providing services and supports for campus instructional leaders
Support leadership capacity building through training, coaching, and supporting
implementation
Provide on-site visits to campuses and districts as appropriate
Process all personal timekeeping, travel reporting and other paperwork in a
timely manner
Maintain professional attire and grooming appropriate for specific job position
Demonstrate punctual and regular attendance on the job
Reports for work ready to perform responsibilities
Supports the mission, goals, and objectives of the ESC
Upholds and adheres to safety rules and policies of the ESC
Performs professional responsibilities as required by ESC policies, processes,
and procedures
Meets proficiency levels of required technology skills as outlined by supervisor
Incorporates appropriate technology in daily work and exhibits continual growth
in technologies as outlined by supervisor
Exhibit professionalism in all situations at the ESC
