National IT Manager

Escalante Golf is seeking a proven leader to join as National Information Technology Manager of a portfolio of 20 premier golf and hospitality properties across the country. The National IT Manager is responsible for the organization and execution of all information technology requirements within the company. They support and maintain existing infrastructure as well as play a key role in the decision making and implementation of new technical strategies. The National IT Manager reports to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and supervises a full-time technology staff and remote IT support providers. This essential team member is dedicated to providing technology resources for daily club operations, membership management, and business intelligence that allow Escalante Golf to perform with excellence.
Candidates for this role must have superior business relationship skills and functional knowledge. Change management experience is preferred. Escalante Golf is currently in the process of evolving technology strategies to improve the stewardship of the clubs we own and scale solutions during our rapid growth. The National IT Manager needs to be a strong team leader who can develop their own resources while building collaboration to successfully manage our IT solutions.
Responsibilities
- Oversees and develops internal IT team members
- Develops and maintains relationships with external IT vendors and continuously evaluates their ability to fit the company’s needs
- Collaborates with remote managers and senior leadership to create and implement IT solutions
- Maintains essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware
- Analyzes IT infrastructure and systems performance to assess operating costs, productivity levels, upgrade requirements, and other metrics
- Directs the procurement, deployment, technical support, and collection of hardware, software, and accessories
- Preserves assets, information security, and control structures with the ability to identify and manage the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems
- Ensures security of data, network access, and backup systems
- Designs and manages IT policies, procedures, and staff training materials
- Manages the business requirements of all current properties and participates in the due diligence process of new acquisitions to determine IT needs
- Manages the IT budget and reports on expenditures
- Troubleshoots hardware and software issues related to internal IT systems and provides desk level remediation support as needed
- Performs other tasks as necessary to serve and resource Escalante clubs and the Home Office team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 8 years of experience working in IT operations, supervising technology teams, and overseeing large information technology projects
- Excellent understanding of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and telecommunications systems
- Ability to manage personnel and external partnerships
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with teams across the entire organization
- Excellent leadership and decision-making skills
- Strong knowledge of project management principles
- Proven ability to support remote teams and off-site technology needs
- Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation
- Ability to travel to properties as needed
- Willingness to work after-hours to perform emergency system support when necessary

Salary
Determined on experience and qualifications: $80,000 - $150,000
