Proposal Specialist

ESI is a technology leader in cutting-edge servo motor control technology for extreme environments. Specializing in designing and manufacturing rugged, high performance motor control products for industrial, military, aviation, robotics, and energy markets.

The Proposal Specialist manages the preparation and submittal of customized winning proposals supporting Embedded Systems Inc. (ESI Motion).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Create all COTS quotes per customer request

· Managing the quote log and creating quote numbers for new COTS/RFI/RFQ/RFP requests

· Create compliance matrices of Client requirements

· Supports developing proposals and content for large and complex proposals

· Develops and executes proposal plans, create work breakdown structure (WBS), and write proposal letters

· Thoroughly analyze all sections of the RFP to interpret the requirements set forth by the Client requirements

· Collaborate with subject matter experts and other team members to gather necessary information and develop proposal content that meets the Client needs

· Write and edit proposal content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and compliance with requirements

· Review and proofread proposals for grammar, spelling, and formatting errors

• Ensure that proposals are submitted on time and meet all submission requirements

Qualifications:

· Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point);

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

· Multi-tasking capability, problem solving and organizational skills;

· Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines;

· Ability to follow complex procedures while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail;

· Ability to work independently, in a timely manner, and with minimal direction is strongly desired

The ideal candidate will have:

· Bachelor’s degree in a technical, management or business discipline

· 2-5 years of specific experience as a proposal writer or proposal specialist

· Knowledge of Hubspot a plus and previous technical experience desired

· Must have excellent interpersonal skills, ability, and preference for working in a team environment

· Mastery of MS Word and other Microsoft applications required to generate text, graphics, schedules, or charts

· Must be capable of multi-tasking

· Ability to develop, adhere to and execute proposal development processes

Pay: $29.00 - $31.00 per hour
