What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accountant/Office Manager position at Eskridge Law?
Rancho Cordova attorney/arbitrator is seeking a full-time Accountant/Office Manager to manage the day-to-day accounting and administration requirements. Some light secretarial work also involved. Legal secretary experience not required, although it would be a plus.
Accounting tasks:
– time and materials accounting for each client
– maintain current and accurate records of accounts receivables/payables
– payroll and bank deposits
– general ledger reporting
– full-charge accounting
Administrator tasks:
– answer incoming phone calls
– maintain insurance policies (Medical, EPLI, Business Owners, E&O)
– coordinate ongoing advertising, if any
– communicate with building management and vendors as necessary
Qualifications:
– must reside within 15 miles of 95670
– working knowledge of Timeslips, Quickbooks, and Excel preferred
– must have excellent phone etiquette
– Associates Degree and 5 years of accounting and administrator experience
