Job Description
Job Title: NERC CIP Auditor/Analyst
Location: Austin, TX (This resource will be required to physically be in the office at least 2 times a week)
Duration: Long Term
Visa: GCH, GC-EAD, H1B.
Notes:
(This resource will be required to physically be in the office at least 2 times a week)
(Only acceptance resumes from Austin and surrounding areas (reside no further than one hour away from the office)
Required Skills:
- Graduation with a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Business, Engineering or in a field related to the job
- Knowledge of NERC CIP Reliability Requirements.
- 2 years of experience in the energy industry and/or electric utility
- 4 years of experience applying or monitoring and verifying cyber security practices
- 4 years of experience monitoring and implementing evolving industry and regulatory developments.
- 5 years of Skill in oral and written communication.
Preferred Skills:
- 5 years of Skill in handling multiple tasks and prioritization.
- 5 years of Skill in using computers and related software applications.
- 5 years of Ability to work with frequent interruptions and changes in priorities.
- 5 years of Ability to establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with fellow employees and vendor personnel
- 2 years of experience with electric utility business practices
- Preferred Skills:
- 2 years of experience working for a municipally owned electric utility
- 2 years of experience in InfoSec certification(s) - CISA, CISSP, GSEC
- 2 years Knowledge of NERC and Texas RE CIP-related Reliability Standards
- 2 years Knowledge of National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) cyber security framework
- 2 years of Skill in Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) applications and software
- 2 years of Ability to quickly recognize and analyze irregular events.
- 2 years of Ability to comprehend key analytical concepts in areas of electric utility operations, power plant operations and energy markets and apply Reliability Requirements relevant to cyber security.
Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
