What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager - Plumbing position at ESP?
The Project Manager’s primary duty is to coordinate all processes from the project acquisition stage through final construction.
Significant Duties:
- Oversee contract processing from edits & negotiation through execution.
· Red line and return to Contractor any and all items not considered part of the scope during bidding and redline any items DPC is not willing to perform as part of our scope.
- Responsible for change order processing.
- Pre – Con Meetings:
- Assist define cost effective means & methods in addition to exploring alternative materials that could generate cost savings.
- Work with sales team in regards to the discussions and directions taken during the bidding process including a full scope narrative as they bid the job
- Discuss Scope & Contract information that was discussed during the bid process.
- Review construction schedule, identify deficiencies affecting Plumbing installation and work to correct with contractor.
- Collaborate with GC Schedule to set up comprehensive router sheet for on time fabrication and material delivery
- Formulate, submit and follow up on Submittals.
- Maintain and manage changes to the Topsheet, distributing to Operations, Engineering and Purchasing.
- Coordinate Plumbing/Piping layout design issues from conception to completion that will result in an RFI to the builder.
- Help coordinate, with field, the delivery and use of material types and equipment.
- Monitor all activities of manpower, including worker productivity and safety through the dailies in Procore.
- Reviews weekly job cost reports to ensure that all costs are within budget guidelines, and production remains on schedule. Recommend adjustments to budgets and schedules when necessary.
- Review and approve monthly job billing, assist in collection of past due accounts.
- Communicate with on-site supervisors, Builders/Owners, and appropriate departments regarding production, material, and manpower needs and changes as it relates to the overall job budget.
- Required to coordinate several major activities at once, while analyzing and resolving specific problems.
- Other duties or projects as required or assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $101,000.00 - $128,970.00 per year
