Our new Coordinator will support team operations and assist in the day-to-day delivery of DEI programming at ESPN and broader initiatives with The Walt Disney Company. This role will support the overall dynamic DEI eco-system of employee groups and champions driving DEI across the company, DEI action planning and team coordination, while also collaborating with Learning & Development, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Communications and HR Analytics on key employee programs and initiatives.
The DEI Coordinator will play a key role in strengthening and operationalizing our company’s DEI strategy.

Responsibilities :
- Support action planning and team coordination with document organization, project plan tracking, communications and scheduling
- Coordinate logistics for key virtual and in-person meetings, events, speakers and conferences
- Provide administrative support for DEI events, cross-ERG efforts, and external partner activations as needed
- Conduct benchmarking and ongoing research on DEI developments, trends, strategies and policies
- Participate in Disney and ESPN DEI meetings while collecting insights, capturing actions, and supporting follow-up
- Develop presentations, reports/spreadsheets and internal communications as needed
- Maintain team SharePoint site, folders, email alias and Slack channel, while regularly monitoring internal chat platforms and flagging when necessary
Basic Qualifications :
- 2 years of administrative experience supporting a leader or team operations within a company
- Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Proven team-player approach and ability to interact effectively with all levels
- Program/project management skills
- Strong Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office skills are required
- Familiarity with Constant Contact, Mailchimp, WordPress and/or similar platforms are desired
- Excellent organization and written communications skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry/media experience in any capacity
- Experience designing or coordinating SharePoint sites and/or newsletters
- Canva, Adobe Photoshop and/or graphic design experience
