We are looking for a Quality Management Director to provide the full spectrum of care for our friends, neighbors and visitors, from pediatrics to geriatrics. Founded in 1975 by the residents of Estes Park. We integrate acute and emergency care with community health, which includes the full range of diagnostic and therapeutic health care through medical and surgical services; a 23-bed critical access acute care facility, a 24-hour emergency department with ambulance service and air transport; primary care and specialty clinics; home health and hospice; and a 52-bed skilled nursing facility.
The Quality Management Director will oversee and monitor the development and implementation of the quality and risk management programs, in collaboration with Senior Leaders, Department Leaders and other staff.

**NOTE: Quality Management Director must be a current licensed Registered Nurse BSN, with ability to obtain a CO RN license. Do not submit candidates that do not have a current RN BSN license.

Bachelors of Nursing minimum with preferred higher degree in a relevant area e.g. MPH, organizational development, medical ethics, legal or equivalent.
3-5 years Med/Surg Nursing; 1-2 years Utilization Review experience and Quality experience preferred.
Three years of healthcare quality and/or risk management work experience and related certifications (CPQA, CPHRM) preferred.
Current Colorado RN license
Ability to prioritize quality improvement and risk management strategies and choose how best to narrow ''quality gaps'' and prevent or minimize harm to patients and the organization.
Proven ability to achieve results.
Possess knowledge of the CQI (continuous quality improvement) process and the ability to apply to varied activities.
Possess knowledge of Risk Management and processes that assure patient safety, limit liability and reduce the financial impact of potentially compensable events.
Ability to examine quality vs. cost of programs
Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, with a diverse group of staff, both internal and external to the organization.
