Esri is looking for an experienced UI designer who is passionate about user-centered design, interaction design, and transforming user insights into impactful usable GIS solutions.

Responsibilities

Help pioneer the field of mapping and spatial analysis through design
Work closely with product owners, product engineers, developers, and other designers to create a modern enterprise experience, enabling organizations to make sense of their geographic data through spatial analysis, mapping visualization, and authoritative data management in both 2D and 3D
Design UI solutions and define the vision of the end-to-end user experience for desktop applications
Influence the shape of the product with research and data while executing design work from wireframes to design specs
Advocate for the end-user; drive creative and pragmatic solutions that meet user needs and goals
Advocate for user-centered design, stay informed, and share the latest trends and best practices in product design with the broader team
Work with developers and product engineers to ensure flawless execution of the visual design Can work remotely

Requirements

One (1) year of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained
Applicants must also have demonstrated experience with the following: UI Design; Visual Design; Adobe Suite; and Scrum (Agile)
Bachelor's degree in human-computer interaction, user experience design, industrial design, visual design, or a related field of study
