Job Description:
Provides leadership and serves as a primary resource to Pre-Service Department, under the direction of the Senior Director - Office of Access Management. Ensures resolution of relevant matters with designated facility leadership, Directors of Revenue Services and the Vice President of Revenue Services. This position works in a cooperative team environment to provide value to customers both internal and external. Coordinates with Essentia Health Information Services to oversee management of software vendors and ensures that configuration of patient management system meets standardized business process requirements. Oversees development and implementation of processes to guarantee the integrity of demographic, financial and clinical information that is directly related to the pre-registration, pre-admission, prior authorization, patient self-pay process including both facility and ambulatory services. Builds consensus on major revenue cycle changes and new policies with peers and departmental administrators, facilitates positive communication and builds strong relationships between revenue services operation, administrators, other clinic and departmental staff and payers regarding revenue cycle matters. Work Experience: 5 years of experience, with 2 years previous leadership experience.
Education Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, health information management or related field.
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
No certification/licensure required.
