Job Summary:
The Nurse Practitioner utilizes advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision making skills, while working both independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals. The NP will provide health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention, caring for patients ranging in age. Position requires high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers, and others.
PRACTICE SPECIFICS:
- Join a fun, collaborative team of 15 physicians, 10 APC’s, 3 genetic counselors, and 31 additional staff members who are willing to help each other accomplish patient goals. There is great rapport between physicians and APC Staff.
- Desired scope and skill set: Women’s Health and Infertility experience preferred.
- The NP typically works independently and consults with MD and are paired with an MD for OB care.
- Typical Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (variable) 100% clinic work – No Call
- Estimated Patients per day: 18
- Estimated procedures per day: 2
EDUCATION:
Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Current licensure as a registered nurse in MN & WI Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in MN & WI Current certification in CPR. National certification, in applicable area. Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice.
