JOB SUMMARY
The Inside Sales Representative is accountable for the sale of a broad range of industrial products under the direction of the Commercial Manager to the organization’s current and potential customers. Sales solicitation will be done primarily by telephone and email generating sales opportunities with measurable results of increased sales and profit by utilizing product and customer knowledge to increase Reid’s market share.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Generates revenue opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting and obtain orders, understanding and interpreting technical information, building rapport, and provide quotations to new or existing customers.
- Analyze competitor’s information to identify sales opportunities and assist in the quoting process.
- Develops accounts through reviewing customers buying history, suggesting new or related items, crossing over competitor’s information and exploring technical features.
- Ability to work as part of a performance-based team, communicate effectively and clearly while working professionally with team members.
- Effective sales professional and competent in obtaining new business through the entire sales process from prospecting to close.
- Self-motivated with the ability to adjust to the ever-changing business environment.
- Represents the Company in improving customer service and problem resolution.
- Professionally handle customer issues and complaints.
- Strong ability to negotiate and make sound business decisions.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
- Enthusiastic, highly motivated individuals with excellent work ethic.
- Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Impeccable follow through on commitments.
- Strong personal accountability and track record of delivering on sales targets, results driven.
- Engineering or industrial experience.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
