Quality Assurance Specialist - 2nd Shift

Reporting to the shift supervisor, the Quality Parts Handler duties include working at presses producing a variety of injection molded plastic parts and examining parts for defects or deviations from manufacturing specifications. Quality Parts Handlers must have the ability to:

• Follow a set of specific instructions
• Do repetitive work, stand for long period of time (sometimes 100%), lift up to 50 pounds on a regular, and perform physically demanding work, such as reaching, standing walking, pushing, lifting, grasping, twisting, and bending. Specific vision abilities which include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
• Successfully use rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers
• Mathematical ability which includes addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, conversion of fractions to decimals and vice versa, working with formulas and percentages.
• Pay specific attention to detail
• Computer proficiency, experience with Windows-based office applications
• Comply with all company policies and procedures; quality management systems; and environmental, health, and safety regulations
