We are looking for a creative animator to develop excellent visual frames with 2D/3D or other techniques. Your work will give life to storylines and characters in films or videos.
Animators possess a creative eye and artistic aptitude. They can easily turn a script or a concept into an impressive computer-generated animation. To excel in this role, you must be highly skilled in CGI software and storytelling.
Is responsible for the oversight of all audiovisual projects; which include video productions, video editing, and general shoots (both video and photo). Additionally, the animator is required to perform quality control and ensure proper legal use of all pre- or post-recorded footage. Furthermore, the animator must provide appropriate training and user support of all available audiovisual technology.
Necessary Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Reading scripts and storylines to understand animation requirements.
- Preparing presentations with raw designs to customers.
- Developing storyboards for the initial stages of production.
- Create models, drawings, and illustrations by hand or electronically.
- Join images with background graphics and special effects.
- Ensure synchronization of frames and audio.
- Participate in the editing process.
- Direct the work of animation assistants.
- Collaborate with production crew (designers, directors, etc.).
- Create and revise all audiovisual productions within the company for events/social media and furthermore pre- and post-editing of all audiovisual productions within the company.
- Confirm with the chain of command in reference to the legal ramifications of projects.
- Improve overall design, production, and client services skills of internal audiovisual projects.
- Share ideas to improve creative ideas or enhancements to internal processes.
- Respond to all client needs and foster a team relationship amongst the entire design / creative team.
- Report to the Media Lab Sr. Manager for all production problems or concerns.
Relationships and Roles:
- Has worked on the Audiovisual/Photography production process.
- Has been involved in all office processes.
- Works with clients and all our stakeholders, not limited only to MediaLab requirements.
Job Specifications:
- Proven experience as an animator.
- Knowledge of 2D/3D, stop motion and computer-generated animation.
- Experience in project management.
- Proficient in CGI software (Photoshop, Cinema 4D, Maya, Blender,).
- A creative storyteller with presentation abilities.
- Comfortable working with deadlines and budget restrictions.
- Teamwork and excellent communication skills.
- Degree in computer animation, 3D/graphic design, fine arts, or relevant field.
- Preferably 4 years’ experience in related fields.
- Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects.
- Assist in archiving and maintaining digital files, project hard copies, photography, illustrations, logo art, and type styles.
- Knowledge of audiovisual technology encompassing cinematography and photography (cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, studio set up and staging).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Languages / Technical / Systems.
- English B2 or higher.
- Deep understanding of photography and cinematography.
- High-level creative skills with a good understanding of design-related concepts.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
- Ability to deal professionally with staff members, clients, and persons of importance.
