Job Details
We are seeking a Scheduling Project Manager for a long-term hybrid assignment with our Sacramento, California-based client. This is a hybrid assignment, but you must be able to commute to Sacramento when necessary.
Activities and Tasks Performed:
- Work closely with Senior PM, Project Director, and Project Team
- Team Building and Leadership
- Estimate task resource requirements and completion estimates
- Develop project and contract deliverables within resource estimates
- Track project and contract deliverable progress
- Develop monthly project reports
- Develop ad hoc reports
- Develop and conduct project communications
- Track project risks, issues, and action item progress and resolution
- Develop and conduct project briefings as requested
- Maintain detailed WBS and Project Schedule
- Maintain and execute project management plans (risk and issue management, etc.)
Deliverables Produced:
- Project-defined deliverables
- Weekly status meetings with updated agendas, minutes, and action items
- Weekly updates to risk and issue tracking logs, WBS, etc.
- Project briefings
- Project status reports
- Fully staffed, effectively engaged team
- Updated project documents
Required:
- Bachelor's degree (Master's or Doctorate degree preferred) from an accredited college or university.
- Three (3) years of experience (5 years preferred) providing diverse technical and management services to government agencies.
- Three (3) years (5 years preferred) of broad and extensive project management (PM) experience successfully managing information technology (IT) programs and projects.
- Three (3) years' experience (5 years preferred) team building, knowledge transfer, and/or mentoring experience.
- Three (3) years of experience (5 years preferred) leading and facilitating team meetings.
- Three (3) years of experience (5 years preferred) in the following:
- Schedule management and Microsoft (MS) Project
- Risk and issue management
- Stakeholder management
- Scope and change management
- Business process review and gap analysis
- Consulting experience for a project worth at least $2M ($5M preferred)
- Schedule management and Microsoft (MS) Project
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the following:
- Risk and issue management
- Stakeholder management
- Scope and change management
- Business process review and gap analysis
- Consulting experience for a project worth at least $5M
Preferred
- Two (2) years of experience in planning and managing Salesforce implementations
- Two (2) years of experience with implementation of Salesforce Customer Community for Public Sector Organizations for the State of California.
