Profile: Continuous Improvement Director
Duration: Full time
Location: Hanover, PA, 17331
Requirements:-
They manufacture wire mesh and have 2 facilities one in York, PA where they pull the wire and another in Hanover, PA where they do the weaving, powder coating or galvanizing. Would really like for them to have a wire background. They ruin 24 hours a day 5 days a week 3 shifts. These role are all 1st shift. They have nice benefits that start the 1st of the month following 60 days if employment. They also pay COBRA while you wait for their benefits to start. 401K match 50% up to 6 %.
Education And/or Experience
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College or University in Operations Management, Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
Prefer candidates with strong industrial engineering background
Experience in leading Kaizen Teams
Required Knowledge Skills And Abilities
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, production methods and coordination of people and resources
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and principles
Knowledge of engineering and KPO capacity within a manufacturing environment
