This is a part-time and temporary position.

What you’ll do:

You will help us continue to build our robust legal resource center. You’ll conduct the necessary research for future jurisdictional expansions, and as part of the content writing team, you will work in various provinces and states with freedom to explore interesting subject matter. Also, as we expand to new markets in the US, your research will ensure our compliance with local legislation. 

What you can expect:

• Brainstorm and write legal articles analyzing new trends in estate and trust law
• Conduct ad hoc research for new expansions or products
• Answer jurisdiction-specific legal questions from our engineering team
• Be in touch with our partner attorneys and collect their feedback as they test our platform
• Create a default estate & trust administration checklists for lawyers in various jurisdictions
• Keep tabs on legislative changes that might affect our software
• Write blog posts about our product and its advantages

Desired skill set:

• Current law student or recent graduate
• Exceptional legal research skills across jurisdictions
• Excellent written communication skills
• Highly motivated, enthusiastic and possessing outstanding initiative
• Creativity in analyzing new legal and technological developments
• Capable of working in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
