About the Role
ELC Online is seeking recent graduates to join us in an Associate, Global Digital Experience role. Assigned to the Digital Experience team, the individual in this role will be provided on-the-job training for multiple sub-functions of the team. This position will support Agile PMO work and actively learn by assuming specific responsibilities to gain a foundational understanding of the Scrum Master role, Agile PMO, and SAFe/agile methodologies.
The Global Agile PMO Scrum Master is a team member role that spends much of their time helping other team members communicate, coordinate, and cooperate; generally, this role assists the team in meeting their goals and helps remove obstacles so that the team can succeed. This role is a servant leader who enables teams to self-organize, self-manage, and deliver via effective Lean-Agile practices. This role supports and enforces the Scrum & APMO process and other rules that the team has agreed and helps the team coordinate with other programs and cross-functional teams and communicates status to management as needed.
Reporting to the Assignment Manager, collaboration is key as we work across multiple brands and markets globally. The right candidate embraces change, is self-driven, and focused on applying best practices and continuous improvement in an iterative, ever-evolving organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Shadowing and supporting Agile PMO Scrum Masters and Portfolio Management team members
- Participate in ceremonies and sessions including for the Portfolio, Cross-Program, Agile PMO, the Scrum Master Community of Practice, product planning sessions, and risk management processes
- Provide inputs in retrospectives and feedback loops - contribute to an environment conducive to openly and honestly sharing information for team success
- Facilitating key agile ceremonies for the Agile PMO such as stand ups, remove and manage team impediments to enable the team to deliver value
- Setting up guardrails, applying lean/agile practices and enabling team to:

- Define and apply "definition of ready" and "definition of done"
- Estimate and refine all work adhering to Agile Best Practices
- Coordinate cross-team dependencies and risks
- Self-organize and innovate
- Execute iteration planning, iteration demonstrations and retrospectives leading the teams to productive outputs and actions
- Adhere to Lean/Agile values, practices, tools and rules
- Applying continuous improvement:
- Facilitate retros: setup and conduct a retrospective and create backlog items for continuous improvement
- Run a deep dive/workshop such as root cause analysis
- Experience in tooling, reporting and metrics:
- Utilize application lifecycle management tools, particularly for development, communications, and collaboration
- Create, pull, and analyze metrics (team burn-down throughout Sprint execution and works with team to maximize efficiency)
- Communicating more effectively and utilizing change management techniques and best practices
- Partnering with peer roles:
- Partner with Product Owner on planning, change management and product backlog maintenance
- Partner with Team on providing deliverables
