Summary of Position:

Rehabilitation Manager is responsible for planning and implementing the overall rehabilitation functions policies, procedures, and services and ensures efficient and effective operations for Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy.

Shift:

Full Time, M-F

Duties:

All Staff Members perform in accordance with Estes Park Health’s Mission, Vision, and Values
Per facility guidelines, be responsible for the authentication, preparation and submitting of department/facility reports.
Preparation of special reports requested by Administration.
Keep abreast of new techniques and trends in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Speech Language Pathology.
Staff management including but not limited to staffing matrix, selection, and scheduling.
Preparation of reports/records of department/facility personnel.
Preparation of daily attendance records, evaluations, session progress notes, progress, and discharge reports
Ensure that all referral sources are advised of department/facility action with the case referred
Confer with the person(s) most closely associated with the active management of the patient (patient needs, treatment modifications and/or progress).
Point of contact for patients, insurance companies, and internal and external care teams, to ensure the necessary authorization and/or referral is secured in a timely fashion.
Maintain inventory of materials and supplies for the department/facility.
Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the departments/organization and keeps current and adhere to EPH Policies and Procedures

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products including Outlook and Teams
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills to be able to effectively communicate with department staff, EPH personnel and external entities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with good organization skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in conformance with standard operating procedures and conditions with a systematic approach to tasks committed to seeing things through to completion.
  • Action oriented demonstrating the ability to handle large workload demands and to troubles shoot issues timely when required.
  • Customer focused. Providing timely, confident, reliable, and friendly service to all our internal and external customers.
  • Ability to keep accurate, legible records and recognize the need to handle these records and all other information in line with regulatory agencies.

Education and Experience:

  • Graduate of an approved program of Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy or Speech Language Pathology
  • Minimum of three years department/facility experience.
  • American Heart Association BLS

Hiring Range:

$33.43-$45.46, depending on experience.
