Job Description:
We are looking for an Operations Manager to join our leadership team. This person will oversee the daily operations of the Operations Support Team to ensure business goals and objectives are achieved. Focus on driving best practices in line with regulatory standards. Collaborate with department heads and executive management team.
You Will
- Analyze internal business systems to ensure compliance with industry regulations, team efficiencies, and ethical standards
- Create, modify, update, and implement the company’s Operations Support policies
- Develop risk management strategies
- Design control systems to address cases of violation of business policies
- Design ongoing training programs for employees of the business
- Be ultimately responsible for the training of the Operations Support Team and ensure all team members hold the proper applicable credentials and knowledge to perform their job in accordance with all internal and external regulations and policies
- Liaise with other departmental heads to ensure that all business operations are in line with business policies
- Advise the top management on business operations relating to investment, risks, and any other policy development
- Create weekly status reports for executive team to review
- Assist other departments and top management in ad hoc projects as needed
Your Experience and Skills
- BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Finance or relevant field
- Self-starter and works well independently with minimal direction
- Strong experience with regulatory compliance relating to BSA/AML
- Tech savvy with strong knowledge of CRM systems and SAAS programs
- Demonstratable ability to build strong, collaborative working relationships and be seen as a topic authority, objective source of information and trusted advisor
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proven ability to juggle multiple projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
