What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Parts Assembler position at ETE REMAN?
As a Hard Parts Planet re-builder, you play a big part of the team in providing parts, service, and goods to other team members. This is key and very important in the remanufacturing process of transmissions. Your day will be spent inspecting, approving, and maintaining quality standards of incoming materials, matching and verifying deliveries of hard parts, and addressing any discrepancies to ensure daily demands are met and processes run smoothly within the department.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Manager or Supervisor when needed, advise them of all inventory problems
- Learn how to use a variety of quality tools, conduct measurements, and visual inspections
- Reject unacceptable material, document findings, and verify quantities & parts received
- Be prepared for scheduled and impromptu meetings, be able to work as a team
- Assist others within the department, train new personnel and work overtime when needed
- Follow directions from team leads, supervisors, and managers, be proactive
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, be at your workstation on time daily

Essential Functions:
- Computer literate, good communication, and able to work with Excel
- Must be 18 years old, high school diploma and detail-oriented
- Willingness and understanding you will get dirty at times and may have to work with chemicals
- Skill of working with your hands, tools (must provide your own), and other instruments
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand & work on your feet for 8 hours a day, and under pressure at times
- Have a Can-Do Attitude, with good time management, communication, and decision-making skills
- Self-starting and motivated; believe in teamwork and uphold the ability to always help others
- Adhere to all safety rules, give it your all every day, must have regular, reliable, and predictable attendance
