Job Description
The Salesforce Engineer II is responsible for driving automation of processes, integration of systems and designing/building the next evolution of our Salesforce environment. This includes configuration, administration, user support, and integration with other systems and apps. Additionally, this person will work closely with stakeholders to develop business and technical requirements, and deliver solutions based on those requirements.
- Perform technical analysis, design, development, implementation of applications with necessary customizations.
- Support cross systems and related integrations across Salesforce and other applications within the ETE ecosystem.
- Work with a cross-functional Scrum team to maintain and enhance Salesforce Service Cloud applications in iterative release cycle.
- Troubleshoot and fix defects for planned releases and production issues.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or related field.
- 3 years of experience in complatform.
- Salesforce Platform II certification or equivalent experience.
- Experience in HTML, XML, JavaScript, and SQL
- Experience using Salesforce data tools (Data Loader, Excel Connector, DemandTools)
- Visualforce, Apex Classes/Controllers, Apex Triggers development experience.
- Knowledge of integrations, third-party integration tools and ETL with Salesforce.
- Experience working with technical and business stakeholders from cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of key Salesforce design concepts.
- In-depth understanding of capabilities and constraints of Salesforce CRM application.
- Understanding of data structures, data modeling and database schema.
- Professional experience in a test-driven and formal QA development environment, including development/staging/production (or similar) deployment cycles.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
