- Leads large projects or processes of complex scope, with limited oversight from manager
• Coaches, reviews and delegates work to lower level professionals
• Assists in the development of operational plan and implements for areas of assigned responsibilities
• Identifies continuous improvement/automation activities
• Conduct scientific research projects with the goal of breaking new ground in data analytics
• Creates data mining architectures/models/protocols, statistical reporting, and data analysis methodologies to identify trends in large data sets
• Supports relationships through strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders
• Other duties as assigned
What are the 3-4 non-negotiable requirements of this position?
Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years of experience; or equivalent work experience
What are the nice-to-have skills?
Developing data modules. Help lead and coach a team of mid-level and junior data scientists, help develop best practices for data scientists and on going maintenance and identifying opportunities to progress data scientist department, working an agile scrum team environment
