Job Title: Patient Service Representative
Location: Soquel ,CA
Duration: 13 Weeks Contract
Pay Rate: $20-26/hr.
Schedule: 8:00-4:30pm (30 min lunch break)
Skills:
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:
1 year working in a Health Information Management department, physician's office/clinic or medical billing service.
1 year demonstrated experience and a proven track record in Release of Information, hospital business operations, information systems and applications.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Advanced knowledge of patient privacy policies and legislation such as HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act).
Ability to interpret a variety of data and instructions, furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Possess written and verbal communications skills to communicate with fellow team members, supervisors, patients, and other hospital personnel.
Well-developed time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized policies and procedures to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
