Description:

Required to be on site in the office 3 times a week (Tuesday -Thursday) in Tampa, FL office.

Requirements:

Should have minimum of 5 -10 years of applications development experience in a fast paced web project leveraging below mentioned technologies.

Should have 5 - 10 years experience as a Software Quality Engineer/Test Engineer /Test

Analyst.Ability to create complex SQL queries for use in validation and test data setup. (Microsoft SQL, Transact-SQL (T-SQL), Stored Procedures)

Understanding of Software and Web technologies which includes .net, Java Script, HTML, SQL, XML, SOAP, ADO and Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS).

Experience with API testing using tools such as postman, APIM, Swagger, REST API, or similar

Demonstrate working understanding of the Agile/SAFe Methodologies and defect management process.

Demonstrate working understanding of Database testing skills like writing simple queries to validate the data

Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment, self-motivated, problem solver, willingness to learn

Should have strong balance of technical and a proven history of good work across large scale applications

Strong communication skills regarding technical topics and remote collaboration skills are critical to this role.

Bachelors degree in Engineering/Computer Science, MIS or equivalent experience.

Illustrative Duties and Responsibilities:

- Participating in Sprint planning and performing test planning to ensure delivery meets the need of the Sprint.

- In depth experience in planning scenarios and writing test plans, test scripts and test results.

- Capable to work in Test-Driven Development (TDD) framework for any feature development and assess impacts on core business functionality.

- Manage all testing activities as part of testing lifecycle from planning to execution.

- Timely reviews of test plans, test scripts and results to ensure optimal requirement and code coverage.

- Responsible for planning and conducting test execution, managing test cases, raising bugs and ensuring no blockages during the testing process.

- Regular reporting on issues identified during testing activities and their resolution for any needed corrective actions.

Collaborate with different teams including offshore to understand test and automation needs as part of development cycle.
