Role: Embedded Firmware Engineer
Location: Burlingame, CA, (Day 1 onsite)
Duration: 12 months
Description:
Experience level: 7- 15 Years
Note: Embedded Firmware experience; C, C & python; Linux, Low level driver development, RTOS.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Develop cutting-edge embedded software engineering solutions.
Analyze and troubleshoot issues related to embedded software engineering.
Design, implement, and maintain embedded software systems.
Collaborate with other engineers and teams to ensure efficient operation of embedded software systems.
Monitor system performance and address any potential issues.
Research and evaluate emerging technologies and trends in the embedded software engineering space.
Prepare technical documentation for embedded software systems.
Assist in the development of project plans and timelines.
What We Are Looking For:
Typically requires a 4 year Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 7 years of related experience or equivalent work experience.
Strong Embedded Engineer comfortable across stack from sensor-hub, various HW abstraction layers, through to OS (Android/Linux)
Experience with low-power embedded systems development in C/C
Experience with health or motion sensors: data collection, signal processing, developing and deploying algorithms
Prior experience on Wearables, Mobile phone or Healthcare devices preferred.
