Job Title: Department Coordinator II
Duration: 4 months
Location: Deerfield, IL
Pay Rate: $16.00/hr to $20.00/hr on W2
100% Remote is OK
Reporting into HR, this role will serve as the subject matter expert supporting Clients credentialing function consisting of a set of business-critical processes that ensure our employees meet the requirements set forth by health care organizations in order to conduct business on behalf of Client.
Manages credentialing inbox to act upon and respond to standard and ad-hoc requests
Runs, interprets, verifies and communicates the results of background, drug screen and other checks
Complies with data protection policies and uses best judgement when working with sensitive and confidential data points
Escalates and resolves issues where necessary to appropriate internal teams and vendors
Provides instructions and guidance to employees on credentialing processes
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Follows policies, procedures and guidelines
Possesses the ability to maintain confidentiality with protected and sensitive information
Works effectively in an independent and a collaborative capacity with a wide range of people, teams, managers, and vendors
Manages complexity and uses independent judgement to resolve issues, and interpret requests
Operates and communicates with a sense of urgency to meet demands
Has strong time-management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks based on business need, due date, complexity, etc.
Reads, writes and speaks English fluently
Executes tasks with the aid of a computer and phone
Proven ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel, cloud applications and web-based systems, email and other technologies
Education And/or Experience
HS diploma
2 years professional work experience required in a position handling confidential information. Preferred experience in:
